Fits the Pluggy XLR microphone and others with 19-25 mm diameter.
The mount holds the Pluggy mic very firmly, it needs a positive push, starting at a 45 degree, angle to insert it.
The mic sits balanced in the holder, the cable requires some support otherwise it will pull on the microphone.
The Lyre has a soft-grip internal surface on the mic clip. The soft-grip helps prevent the mic twisting or slipping, and stops the clip scratching the surface of the microphone.
The adapter is professionally 3D printed in tough nylon and has a steel threaded insert.
The Pluggy Lyre uses Rycote's established and patented Lyre technology. The virtually indestructible W-shaped Lyre clip is made of hard-wearing, heat-resistant thermoplastic, and will not perish like elastic suspension systems. It will dramatically reduce the effects of the unwanted vibrations that can reach the mic capsule in undamped mic suspensions and can be heard as noise or low-frequency thumps.
