These Puffer Urchins are made specially for Clippy microphones by Radius Windshields. They use high quality acoustic synthetic fur with a built in foam core for added wind protection and a secure fit.
The blue safety strap is to ensure that the microphone doesn’t slip out of the Lav Urchin Windshield. They use a faux suede that grips onto the lav microphone.
The puffer has a sewn in foam core. This was designed to give extra wind protection, without the hassle of fitting a foam inside the windcover – whilst also maintaining a small profile.
Fitting the Puffer Urchin:
- Locate the Blue Safety Strap.
- Push the Clippy mic slightly into the loop.
- Push the mic directly into the windcover hole
- Secure into place. Now you’re ready to go!
