These silicon ear plugs are soft and comfortable. Each pack contains enough material to make up to 3 pairs.​

These earplugs can be used to mount microphone capsules at the entrance to the ear canal for binaural recording. The substance is used following the instructions supplied and while the mixture is still soft the microphone capsule and wire is pushed gently into it.

The compound cures quicker the warmer it is.  We suggest it is stored in the refrigerator before use and mixed quickly and in as cold a situation as you can manage. This will extend its working time.

  • Working time at 23C > 80 seconds
  • Setting time at 23C > 10 mins
